WAFFLES

With Chia Seeds

Ingredients

  • 800 g Flour 
  • 4 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Grated lemon zest
  • 100 g Emborg Butter (melted)
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 50 ml Lemon juice
  • 300 ml Emborg Whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds

Topping:

  • 400 g Emborg Mascarpone
  • 400 g Blueberries
  • 200 g Honey

Method

Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl and all the wet ingredients in another bowl. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and whisk until the dough is smooth. Let the dough set for 1 hour. Add additional cream if the dough is too dry.

Fry the waffles in a hot, greased waffle iron. Serve with mascarpone, blueberries and honey.
