GRILLED KOFTA

With Yogurt Dressing

Ingredients

  • 20 Small skewers
  • 1.5 kg Minced lamb
  • 2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 3 Cloves garlic
  • 1 Red onion

Dressing:

  • 700 ml Emborg Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Chopped dill
  • 1 Clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Zest from 1 organic lemon
  • salt & pepper

 

Method

Stir the spices into the minced lamb. Press the garlic and stir into the minced lamb, together with finely grated red onion. Shape the meat around the skewer into a square sausage and refrigerate until they are to be grilled.
Stir the yogurt with chopped dill, pressed garlic, olive oil and grated lemon zest. 

Grill the skewers for about 2 minutes on each of the four sides.
Serve with dip, a green salad and bread.
